The assault caused the partial shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the T3 parking area.

An additional two individuals have been arrested related to a theft at Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

The arrests come after an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, two women had stolen from them their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was one of the injured during the incident. Five people went to hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.

Police arrested a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of a number of individuals injured by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.

The assault - which police said was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - caused train delays and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the T3 car park briefly.
