Devoted followers of the pop star are demanding that a individual who leaped a fence and touched the actress during the recent Wicked: For Good debut be detained or removed from Singapore.

A circulating clip depicts the individual from Australia bypassing photographers and lunging at Grande while the actors walked down a yellow carpet flanked by onlookers.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo promptly pulled the surprised star away from Mr Wen, who was seen being led away of the event by security officers.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "let go after being taken in", though court documents indicated that he was scheduled to attend court on the following morning. It is uncertain if he was formally accused.

Record of Incidents

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has disrupted a performance. His Instagram feed contains recordings of him disturbing other star-studded functions, including breaching the performance area at Katy Perry's Sydney concert in recently and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers event in the city last winter.

"Measures must be taken enforced against him as this is clearly a punishable act," commented an Instagram follower, in a message to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his behavior.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" another Instagram user questioned.

Fans Express Concern Over Grande's Well-being

Several followers accused Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had discussed experiencing trauma-related anxiety after a suicide bomb attack at the conclusion of her May 2017 concert in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and injuring many.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" said another message on Instagram.

Several attendees also criticised security officers at the premiere for not being vigilant enough; while some requested digital services to remove Mr Wen's videos.

Response and Event Details

In footage spreading on the internet, Grande seemed shocked when she was approached by the intruder. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted comforting her while Mr Wen was led out by guards.

Grande has not issued a statement on the event, and the rest of the event proceeded as normal.

Many of fans had assembled in a mass of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific launch in a Singapore mall, including some who had stood in line for as long as a significant duration before it commenced.

The motion picture, to be launched on November 21, is the follow-up of a dual version of the popular Broadway and West End production Wicked, which centers on the surprising friendship between two distinct sorceresses.

The musical itself is a derivative of the classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was adorned in a champagne pink sequin dress at the gathering while Erivo, who plays the wicked witch, wore a elegant ensemble decorated with roses.

They were accompanied by fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the top-earning movie of the previous year in the UK, and earned a dozen award recognitions, winning two for excellent wardrobe and production design.
